A professional development analysis for Turkish language teachers: What did they expect What have they found

Professional development studies have contributed to teachers’ professional motivation and student success. Therefore, activities must take into account the needs interests of stakeholders involved in education circles. The current study aims examine Turkish language past experiences with determine their perceptions expectations from development. adopted a phenomenological approach. data were collected interviews conducted 38 teachers working Bursa. analyzed qualitatively using content analysis. Findings showed that keen participate held by Ministry National Education (MONE) Turkey, but not satisfactory. investigates considering many aspects proposes suggestions based on findings.
